There’s just something about elk that takes a hold of us. This is the focus of episode 2 of “Beyond the Kill” — new series from the Journal of Mountain Hunting.
From the Journal of Mountain Hunting:
“There is a reason that the antlers of the Elk have graced the crests and flags of our ancestors as prolifically as they have. Majestic in every way, their regal crowns signify that they are the king of the forest.
In Beyond The Kill – The Series, follow Editor in Chief Adam Janke over six episodes as he embraces the Journal’s “Year of The Elk”. In Episodes 1-3 Jankinov takes rookie hunter Matt Ward under his wing on a quest for big Kootenay bulls. Episodes 4-6 he joins mountain guide, Nolan Osborne, as they explore the forgotten rainforest valleys of B.C’s South Coast in search of Roosevelt Elk.”
