KUIU has a way of creatively coming up with solutions to the wide range of needs hunters have. Often KUIU doesn’t necessarily always create a product the world has yet to see — instead they consistently find deficiencies with existing products and offer innovations and improvements that make it so you couldn’t imagine another option moving forward.
Last fall I couldn’t believe my luck when at the end of what was probably about a 10-mile backcountry hike, I found a 7-mag round on the ground that I had dropped hours earlier in the day. What are the chances?! While the likelihood of such a find it small, the chances of dropping ammo out of stock caddies, packs, pockets, and so on over the course of a day is fairly high. Additionally, hunters often have to scramble to remember where in their pack their ammo is or even use several different pockets to cut down on the noice of them hitting each other.
For me, the KUIU Ammo Holder Flip Pouch is the solution I’ve needed. This small and lightweight wallet holds up to 10 rounds and keeps them protected (and quiet) in a low profile, slightly padded pouch that opens and closes quietly and even includes dividers to hold everything in place.

The KUIU Ammo Holder Flip Pouch is also designed to attached to packs, bino harnesses, belts, and more. And even if you just toss it in your pack, it ought to be relatively easy to find, and you don’t have loose or hard to find ammo. And no rattling and clanging noise!
The KUIU Ammo Holder Flip Pouch is comes in Phantom, Verde, and Vias colors and costs $29. Highly recommended, and it probably eventually pays for itself with no more rounds lost in the field.
