Review: The Ammo Holder Flip Pouch from KUIU

KUIU has a way of creatively coming up with solutions to the wide range of needs hunters have. Last fall I couldn’t believe my luck when at the end of what was probably about a 10-mile backcountry hike, I found a 7-mag round on the ground that I had dropped hours earlier in the day. What are the chances?! While the likelihood of such a find it small, the chances of dropping ammo out of stock caddies, packs, pockets, and so on over the course of a day is fairly high. Additionally, hunters often have to scramble to remember where in their pack their ammo is or even use several different pockets to cut down on the noice of them hitting each other.

For me, the KUIU Ammo Holder Flip Pouch is the solution I’ve needed. This small and lightweight wallet holds up to 10 rounds and keeps them protected (and quiet) in a low profile, slightly padded pouch that opens and closes quietly and even includes dividers to hold everything in place.
