New Bush Craft Series of Knives from Browning

Browning is expanding their extensive line of knives and adding a new family called Bush Craft. This new line features several fixed blade models designed with the hunter and camper in mind.

Bush Craft Ultra knife

The Bush Craft Ultra has an overall length of 9” with a 4-1/6” flat ground, brush finished, fixed drop/skinner blade shape. The blade is made of 7Cr17MoV stainless steel and features ant-skid grooves on the spine. The knife offers rugged full-tang construction with a black G-10 laminate scales kept in place with flush fit mosaic pins. Included is a brown top grain leather belt sheath with a retaining strap and embossed with a Buckmark logo. Retail price is $39.99.

Bush Craft Ignite black sheath knife

Featuring an carbide fire starter, the Bush Craft Ignite knife is available in two models — one with a checkered cocobolo wood handle and the other with a black G-10 handle. Both include a fixed drop point blade made of 7Cr17MoV stainless steel and showcase the Browning Buckmark logo laser engraved in the handle. The cocobolo model has a polished stainless bolster and butt cap. The G-10 model includes a partially serrated blade edge and a brushed stainless bolster and butt cap. Both models have an overall length of 8-7/8” with a 4-1/4” blade. A top grain leather sheath with a pocket for the fire starter is included. Retail price for each knive is $59.99.

Bush Craft Camp knife

Designed for heavy-duty work around a campsite, the Bush Craft Camp knife is built tough with full-tang construction. The 9-1/16” flat ground blade is made of 440 stainless steel and the overall length of the knife is 15”. The blade is a fixed semi-bolo design with a titanium finish. An injection-molded, heavily checkered, polymer handle affords a sure grip. The knife has a lanyard eyelet and comes with a rugged reinforced nylon belt sheath with a snapped retaining strap. Retail price is $39.99.

The Bush Craft Knife/Light Combo features a sharp fixed blade knife and a handy pen light that fits securely into a special sleeve in the reinforced nylon belt sheath. The knife has a hollow ground 4-1/2” blade made of 7Cr17MoV stainless steel. The handle is a black injection molded design with heavy checkering for a sure grip. Overall length is 8-1/2”. The pen light produces 60 lumens of light from 2 AAA batteries (included) and will run up to 2-1/2 hours. Suggested retail for the combo is $49.99.

The New Kodiak Knife from Browning Can Handle Field Dressing Chores with Ease

The new Kodiak knife from Browning is designed to make field dressing big game quick and easy. This folding lockback model has an injection molded handle with finger groove and flush-fit mountings for a firm, comfortable non-slip grip. The blades are constructed of 7Cr17MoV brushed stainless steel to resist rust and hold an edge longer, requiring less time sharpening.

The knife includes a drop point blade, gut-hook/abdominal blade and a double-cut bone saw. The Kodiak knife comes with a nylon sheath and sells for a suggested retail price of $39.99.

Speed Load Tactical model knife has been introduced by Browning for 2017. The new knife features a folding liner lock blade with four replaceable 420J2 stainless steel razor blade inserts. The four inserts include one partially serrated drop point, one modified tanto, one modified sheepsfoot and one standard utility blade. A handy feature of the Speed Load Tactical knife is that it will accept any replacement blade for a common utility knife, easily purchased at most hardware stores.

The handle is sculpted black G-10 scales with anti-skid grooves on rear of handle. The knife also features a steel pocket clip, thumb stud and rugged flapped nylon belt sheath with polymer hard case insert for storing extra blades.

Overall length is 7-5/8” and blade length is 3-1/4”.

Browning Adds to the Speed Load Knife Line

A new addition to Browning’s hunting knives line for 2017 is the Speed Load Ceramic knife. The new Speed Load Ceramic has a folding liner lock 3” blade with replaceable ceramic blade inserts. Three inserts are included with the knife: One drop point, one guthook and one caper blade.

The handle of the Speed Load Ceramic is injection-molded polymer with rubber grip inserts. A steel pocket clip, thumb stud and rugged flapped nylon belt sheath with polymer hard case insert for storing extra blades are included. Overall length is 7”.

Browning Knife blades

Browning has also introduced the Speed Load Saw that features an innovative patent-pending quick-change blade design. The new Speed Load Saw features two push/pull blades, a folding camp and big game saw in SK5 high carbon steel.

The handle is black and gray injection molded polymer. A locking wood screw in the base allows it to be used as a pole saw for clearing shooting lanes. The saw includes a thumb stud, push button blade lock and a rugged flapped nylon belt sheath with protective sleeves for storing extra blades.

Overall length is 18-1/2” with the 9” saw blade.

Browning Introduces the Hell’s Canyon Speed Knife

Part of the new Browning Hell’s Canyon Speed line of products is the new Browning’s Hell’s Canyon Speed fixed blade knife.

The Speed Knife has a 3 ½” modified drop point blade made from ATS stainless steel with a carbon fiber insert. Adding to the lightweight design of the knife, the handle also has carbon fiber inserts. For a secure grip, the knife features a black rubber cord wrap on the grip frame.

A black, fitted polymer belt sheath is provided.  Overall length of the Hell’s Canyon Speed knife is 8 ¾”.

New to the Black Label line of products from Browning is the Pandemonium Full Auto Knife. This unique modified tanto blade model is made in the U.S.A. and has full auto assisted opening for rapid blade deployment.

The blade on the knife is hollow ground and made from 440 stainless steel. The blade is 3 ½” long and the knife has an overall length of 7 ¾” when opened. The handle is made of checkered black G-10 scales and has a tactical pocket clip.
