“On this hunt, I head deep into the high country mountains in search of whitetail deer. In this backcountry area, the densities are low, but you have the place to yourself. A strategy that has worked really well for me over the years.
I headed out on this hunt with my Sako S20. On a trip like this, I may hunt an entire week with the hope of just a single opportunity. If I do get that opportunity, I want to know I can make good on it and make the shot count.”
