Video: Bowhunting Elk in Montana

With an over the counter tag in hand, Remi Warren overcomes an injury to get a nice bull elk in Montana.

From Remi Warren:

“With only a long weekend to hunt, I headed out in a OTC elk unit to try and find success. To make things more interesting I had to draw and shoot my bow with my mouth for the season due to an injury to my wrist.

With limited time I put in a lot of extra effort e-scouting the area on my GOHUNT maps. The e-scouting paid off as I found myself into elk straight away in the new area.

The hunt came down to the wire as a last second miss step almost cost me the hunt, but the right call stopped the bull and I found success on one of the hardest hunts out west, and came home with some of the best wild game meat to eat.”
