Hard work pays off in the Utah high country as an archery elk tag is filled on a big bull.
From The Mountain Project:
“After plans got messed up by some bulls bugling by the truck, a plan to hike in for the last two days is made. Kevin and Blake leave the truck early and have a morning in the elk woods we all dream about when we have bow in our hands with a tag in our pocket. After a couple failed set ups with bulls bugling in his face, Kevin is met at 40 yards by a big mature bull bugling. The trip is capped off with a stud bull to bring home to Arizona to bring an end to the hectic two weeks of hunting two species in two states.”
