Film: Colorado Fence Pull – An RMEF Film

In a new film from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, a team helps improve habitat in Colorado.

From the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation:

“Five years after fire naturally removed woody downfall and debris, resulting in lush vegetation and enhanced forage for wildlife, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation volunteers flocked to central Colorado to carry out a removal project of their own. They used chainsaws, wire cutters, pickups, ATVs and muscle to strip miles of fencing off the landscape, clearing travel corridors for elk, moose, mule deer, turkey and other species.

As one volunteer said, ‘Conservation means continuing to do this now and the next generation and the generation after that.’ Watch as RMEF volunteers ‘pay it forward’ for the wildlife and land they cherish. Presented by: @stihlusa and Pendleton Whisky”
