Hard work pays off on public land in Wyoming!

“Every year, Randy Newberg and his son Matthew carve out time in their calendar to go hunting together. This year, Matthew drew an elk tag in Wyoming along with his great uncle Larry. Unfortunately, due to medical reasons, Larry wasn’t able to join this year.
Matthew and Randy decide to make the most of it, and are joined by their friend Buzz Hettick. Throughout the hunt, they glass up plenty of mature bull elk. Matthew stays patient and waits to find one that feels right to him.
Eventually they glass up a huge bull elk, that gets Matthew pretty excited. They make a play and are able to get within rifle range and just have to wait for the bull to stand up from his bed and present Matthew a good shot opportunity.”
