Hitting the mountains of Montana to hunt elk in an episode of Fresh Tracks!

“In this episode of Fresh Tracks season 8, Randy Newberg is hunting bull elk in Montana hunting a general unit that anyone can go and hunt as long as they have a general elk tag. Joining him is Beau Baty from Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas and Matt Seidel.
This area gets a lot of hunting pressure but the crew plans to work hard and try to use the competition to their advantage. It doesn’t take long to spot herds of bulls. Being a general unit it can be difficult to find a mature bull, but they are able to spot a huge bull that they decide to go after.
Things don’t go according to plan at all but it works our in their favor, specifically Beau’s favor. With plenty of days and plenty of elk, Randy and Matt both get great opportunities on public land elk despite the amount of other hunters in the area.”
