The mule deer hunt in Montana continues in a video from Randy Newberg.

“In episode 2 of this public land montana deer hunt, Marcus Hockett still holds an unfilled general season deer tag, along with Beau Baty of @Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas . Marcus and Travis head out early in the morning to a spot that looked good from the satellite imagery, but upon arriving they quickly realized it wasn’t ideal habitat.
So Marcus continues checking out different sections of public land. He locates a mature muley buck on a section of state land that he quickly decides to go after. They hike to within range, but mess up on the distance resulting in a clean miss. Thankfully, Marcus is able to get back on the buck and get a good range.
Beau also has a deer tag to fill, so he is out covering country looking for a buck to shoot. When Marcus gets back to camp, he sees the monster public land mule deer that Beau turned up.”
